- Marvelous Fish & Chips, 4/113 Landsborough Avenue, Scarborough.
- Yabbey Road, 133 Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe: a Beatles-themed fish and chip shop across from the foreshore.
- Seafood Town, 4/14 Oxley Avenue, Woody Point: fish and chips plus a seafood market.

Where to eat them
- Scarborough Beach Park: shelters, picnic tables and lawns by the water.
- Redcliffe Jetty and the foreshore: benches along Redcliffe Parade.
- Woody Point Jetty: the peninsula’s sunset spot, looking west over Bramble Bay.
The east-facing beaches from Scarborough to Suttons get the sunrise, not the sunset, so for fish and chips at sunset, head to Woody Point. Watch out for seagulls.

Morgans at Scarborough Boat Harbour and Seafood Town at Woody Point both sell fresh seafood, handy if you are staying somewhere with a kitchen and a barbecue.
