The Redcliffe Markets, often called the Jetty Markets, are the peninsula’s weekly fixture: a Sunday morning of stalls along Redcliffe Parade beside the Redcliffe Jetty. Here is what you need to know.
When are the Redcliffe Markets on?
- Every Sunday, rain or shine
- March to November: 8am to 2pm
- December to February: 7am to 1pm (earlier to beat the heat)
The markets are run by Goodwill Projects, whose website has any changes around public holidays.
Where are they held?
Along Redcliffe Parade next to the Redcliffe Jetty, in central Redcliffe. Our villa in Scarborough is about 5 minutes away by car, or take Translink bus 699 from Jeays Street at Palmtree Avenue.
What can you find?
Expect local produce, handmade goods, clothing and gifts, food stalls and coffee. Stalls change from week to week.
Parking
Street parking around Redcliffe Parade fills up quickly on Sunday mornings, so arrive early, or ride the Moreton Bay Cycleway, which runs along the foreshore right past the markets.
Christmas Twilight Market
Once a year, usually on a Saturday evening in December, the organisers run a Christmas Twilight Market on Redcliffe Parade.
Make a morning of it
After the stalls, walk out on the jetty, visit Bee Gees Way at 109 Redcliffe Parade, or take the kids to Settlement Cove Lagoon.
